Breaking Into

Nicole Hanratty is the Director of Communications for celebrity attorney and television host Darren Kavinoky and well known brand 1.800.No.Cuffs.  She is a regular contributor to www.darrenkavinoky.com.  She has almost a decade of experience producing video, interviewing celebrities and creating viral social media campaigns.  Nicole Hanratty is known as a tastemaker in the music industry and has given early press to many bands that have gone on to receive major coverage.

Nicole Hanratty is currently working towards her second Masters Degree.  She is a Communications major at Syracuse University Newhouse.  She previously received a Masters Degree in Political Science from California State University, Northridge.  Nicole received a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies and Politics with an emphasis on International Relations from University of California Santa Cruz. Her thesis paper on human rights was accepted at a national political science conference.

Nicole Hanratty regularly donates her time to charity including acting as the Assistant DJ at the Summer of 2015 Special Olympics at UCLA for Gymnastics, broadcast by ESPN.  She was the social media reporter “on the scene” and the voice of Lupus LA for their 2016 Lupus Orange Ball, creating the #ShowOffYourCape social media campaign for the event.

In past years, Nicole Hanratty produced an annual holiday concert for Casa Pacifica as entertainment for the facility’s Amgen sponsored Christmas Boutique exclusively for the orphaned resident youths.

Nicole has also been a supporter of Mattel UCLA Children’s Hospital Party on the Pier as a media partner and a member of the planning committee.  She regularly covers red carpet events interviewing celebrities for charities and coordinates corporate sponsorship.
